I am switching from hosting video on Youtube to the more professional Vimeo. The quality is far higher, and it is nice to disassociate myself from the increasingly immature world of Youtube users. Here is one of my recent conversions that my brother Luke took with his POV head cam. The quality is so much better better, even when scaled wider to fit the column. Original post here.
Double the resolution,
Double the resolution, double the jealousy!!!
The video looks so much better. I think youtube also offers double-res videos, but vimeo is still a better design. Did you check out flickr's video hosting? If you have a pro account, that also works really well.
Bring out the geeks
Is this what it takes to wake you up, my old geek friend. :)~
Productivity destroyed...
..in not just one but two offices with that video. Much nicer than You-tube - look forward to seeing more conversions!
Thats the idea
Chris, glad I could distract. Thanks for the comments.
I enjoy your mountain blog and have been linking to it for some time now, I hope that you don't mind.

Mountain Blog
Had a look through the mountain blog... man... stunning photography. Really nice stuff.
clean and pretty
I agree, the i-cjw.com blog is super clean in design and has great pictures. So many Japanese mountain pictures look both glum and the same (usually due to lack of rocks, grey-brown trees everywhere and typically cloudy skies). But the pics on that site do the mountains some justice.
