Field Observations:
Mid winter storm and snow conditions yesterday. We did a few very high quality and not quickly forgotten backcounttry runs in the trees from 1900m. Perfect dry powder blowing over the shoulders every turn. We remained on nothing steeper than 30 degrees to avoid any storm snow instability, given how deep it was. What a week it has been.
Another 16cm of new snow in the last 24 hours.
